Who am I?
Where am I?
Who can I trust?
What will make me happy?
When will I die?

What happens after I die?
I believe that love existed before humans did. Just as the stars shone for billions
of years before an ancestor of ours bothered to tilt their head above the horizon, it,
and every other feeling we have was in the universe.
These feelings, these desires, permeate the very fabric that we all share. No matter where
you go, no matter the time, no matter the company you take, we all share the same universe.
I may think you an uncivilized heathen and you may think me an infidel, but we're stuck here together,
no matter how much we would like each other to not be here.
Death does not divide us, no matter our beliefs.
It unites us.
From babies torn asunder by fire from above to flat stockbrokers fleeing fire from below, we
share the same respect of the dead.
From Allah to Zeus, we seek from them the answers to the questions that perplex us all, all of
our lives.
Destroy us, and you destroy yourself, for we are you, and you are us.
This struggle we find ourselves in now is yet another turn of the wheel that has ground on year
after year, decade after decade, century after century, millenia after millenia, epoch after epoch.
Will this yet be the war to end all wars, the wheel finally flat, or will we spin it yet again
for one more pi?
All empires rise and fall, some assailed from without, the others from within.
No matter who wins this spin of the wheel of fortune, the questions will remain, and to kill us,
you will kill a part of yourselves.
You may place us all in the ground, but we will wait for you, patiently, for your time will come
soon enough too to join us.
The wheel will spin ever on, Allah to Zeus regardless, and you will be crushed underneath it like
we were.
It is merely a matter of time.
Ask the Americans, the British, the Japanese, the Germans, the French, the Hungarians, the Turks,
the Incas, the Romans, the Greeks, the Egyptians, the Chinese, the Urians and all the others who
fell.
They wait for you in their graves to tell you that past glories are past, and that to grasp for them
again is to grasp the soil that they rest within, and then, to join them.
You may fell the giant, but the giant may yet still crush you as it falls. Better to let it
die in its sleep.
I am a human.
I am here.
I trust my friends.
It is up to me to accept happiness and reject sorrow.
When it is time.
Where I am.
Everything that will.
Truth is not human, and those who claim to wield it, claim to be what they are not.
